I was interested in the introduction of a man-made object in an outdoor setting, a luminous square, a human element that forms a relationship with nature and helps it to be reborn. From this I feel a kind of poetry blossoms, linked to the presence of this regular shape, like a recurrent canvas that symbolically references creation, the blank page, the empty space that needs to be inhabited.

Tatiana Plakhova is a Moscow-based art director, designer and illustrator whose imagination and forward thinking ideals create a new world.Her works are very unusual. By using mixed media software she creates beauty in details.

Kristian Hammerstad

Kristian Hammerstad is a trained illustrator and self-taught animator. He studied at Central Saint Martins College in the UK.

After starting in commercial animation with friends and working for a few years in the UK he now works mainly as an illustrator. Kristian now lives and works in his native Oslo, Norway.
